Assignment 22- Ian Schaeffer

If I could be one character from any movie, television show, or book series, I would go with Legolas from Lord of the Rings. To start off with, elves live forever (unless they die an epic hero death), and there are certain pros to eternal life. Secondly, elves are super athletic. I would be doing flips into my late 900's, and I would never have to fight off pesky arthritis or crippling injuries. But most importantly, the hair. I don't want Harry Potter's grimy black hair, or some Greaser cut. If I could have Legolas's mane. I wouldn't even need the rest of the package. The guy just has some luscious locks. However, beyond the surface level, the Lord of the Rings series is one of the first series I ever read and one of my favorites. A lot of the characters are great, but the movies built an even more specific personality for each one that made me like Legolas. So while there are no doubt characters with cooler powers, I would choose him.
