Assignment 17, KHALID BROWNE

So I watched Avengers and The Cabin in the Woods by Joss Whedon. This was actually very interesting because when i think of Joss Whedon I think of superhero movies or super powered human beings. Also his movies are all about action and are meant to entertain the audience in a non scary, energetic and hopeful way. I also just love his superhero movies they are great and always leave me wanting more. On the other hand he also directed the movie The Cabin in the Woods, which is a scary horror movie. Even though its not actual scary monsters and such and its just two weird scientist doing all this foolishness. It was really interesting for Joss to go from superhero, action movie to scary, weird scientist movie. It was almost as if he got one bad review and is now depressed. Even though this was a complete shift in movie genre i still think Joss Whedon is a great director.
