Assignment 18 - Kyle Hosey

High School:
1. Pass AP French - not necessarily the AP French Test - with an A in both semesters.
2. Get a 5 on the APUSH test, the AP Physics Test, and the AP test for this class.
3. Shoot over 270 in the state archery tournament.
4. Make the state golf tournament, either as an individual or with the team. This is my priority because it's something I should already have checked off. The first 14 holes of the Regional last year was some of the best golf I have ever played. I was -1 through 14; I finished +7. Even though the team wouldn't have scored well enough to go to state anyway, finishing the season like that was crushingly disappointing. Flipping that script might not be as important as passing my AP tests, but it would certainly bring the greatest amount of satisfaction.

College:
1. Play on a college golf team.
2. Find my group of lifelong friends, like my dad found at Virginia Tech; he goes back to Blacksburg every year to watch a football game with them.
3. Win the "championship of life" (jk who wants to live in Knoxville?).
4. Find my career. This is my priority because I don't think I will find out what I want to spend my life doing in the next 12 months. I know most of my classmates don't know either, but I look at some of them and think, "Wow, they have their whole lives planned out. I just want to get through this week." Whether, it's law, medicine, history, or golf, I want to know my path by the time I graduate.

Life:
1. Live in Florida, the Southwest, or Southern California - any place it's warm really. Winter can go to hell.
2. See Kentucky win 9 football games - bowl game included. I know I have no control over this, but we got 8 a couple times under Rich Brooks.
3. Attend the Masters and another Ryder Cup.
4. Somehow, someway play Augusta National Golf Club. I'd even take the par 3 course. Just like my high school priority, I know this goal isn't the most important one, but it means the most to me. I got to play TPC Sawgrass on the TaxSlayer Bowl trip, but Augusta is on another level. Amen Corner is even my lock screen. As far as I'm concerned, it's the closest thing to heaven on earth.
