Assignment 2 Daniel Zhu

Technology has affected me in both positive and negative ways but mostly positive. I now have instant access to ongoing trends that are going all around the world at the power of my fingertips. Using my iPhone, I am able to see my friends' latest Instagram post, listen to Frank Ocean's newly released album, and explore the news that is circulating worldwide. I love technology, I now have easy access to everything you could possibly imagine. I'm able to text my friends and check social media all in an instant. I'm also free to watch my favorite youtuber's videos with the wide variety of apps that I have easy access to on my phone. While technology provides all these awesome things, every good thing is followed along with a flaw. The troubling thing about technology is that it can be a huge distraction. I'll have the urge to scroll on social media for hours while I should be doing my math homework. Even while in school, many students are faced with the problem of always wanting to check their text messages or just pull out their phone during class which can be a hamper their learning.
