Assignment 3 - Stephanie Bailey

I believe that good and evil does exist but they are not exactly "clear cut". I also believe that being good or evil is determined based on which a person is predisposed to in their younger years. What I would consider to be evil is something like being a serial killer or some kind of criminal, but, the people who are classified as these things, were not born that way. A person's first few years of their life lays the foundation of who and what they will most likely become: Good or Evil. I would like to say that good could defeat evil completely but it becomes more and more apparent that that can never happen in this corrupt world. There will always be pain and suffering somewhere in the world every minute of every day. There will always be the evils of human trafficking, kidnapping, murders, robberies, and natural disasters. The fact that many people let the evil in this world overshadow the good though is why the evil can prevail and never be defeated. The biggest example is the news channels. They focus on all of the breaking stories of who was killed or which houses burned down the night before instead of the good things that are happening in the community every day.
