Assignment 13 - Stephanie Bailey

Horses helped the humans of the past build America. They served in war as soldiers of another kind and lended people their strong backs, powerful legs, and kind spirits. They were the only form of transportation besides walking and they always did what they were asked to. They are an important part of our history and carried the future of America on their backs as human struggled to find their way to peace and prosperity. 2016 is a new year and the dawn of a new age though. When is the last time someone relied on a horse as the vehicle of their two day long journey to Georgetown? They are no long of any importance to the human race, and therefore they should just be slaughtered and used for useful products like glue and dog food. Their kind spirits have carried them this far but this is the end of their usefulness, and therefore, their existence. This world is constantly changing and the human race must evolve with it and terminate anything that can no longer help it do so.
