Assignment 6 - Kenna Miller

Prompt 1: Blue deciphers any language instantaneously, allows you to speak any language of choice. Red materializes a writing or drawing stylus or tool into your hand at your will, changes ink to any color you tap on, instantly*. As valuable as both are, there are drawbacks. Blue means that you can never be able to say "I love you". Red means that you can never sell your art created by the stylus. Pick a pill.
*fine print: pill restores every color known to man to a colorblind's vision

Prompt 2: As some of you know, Henry Clay is the only high school in the county which does not have a block schedule. While Dunbar and Lafayette have eight classes within two days, we have the same six ones at the same time, every day. Doesn't this repetition get monotonous? Should Henry Clay eliminate the six-class sched for two more classes? Argue your position.

Prompt 3: Guardian angels watch over us, guide us, and protect us. You never know who yours is or what they do to sway you. They influence so much art, music, and story in today's world. This brings up the question: "do guardian angels exist"? State your opinion on the subject. If you think they are real, give some evidence of the happening or intrigue us with the supposed identity of your winged overseerer.

I'll respond to prompt 1 for this one.
If y'all know me, you probably believe I would choose the blue pill; however, you assumptions are wrong. I select the red pill. Art means a lot to me, even though I am not the best artist. Though I've focused mainly on pencil and paper, I've always wanted to spray paint. Graffiti is an amazing way to express yourself, and it also lure an artist out of their indoor environment. Graffiti involves so many different colors, so I would love to have a can with any color of my choice. Grabbing a couple of friends and cans on a Saturday afternoon to a wall in the city sounds like a fantastic way to spend some time. Honestly, a good color mix seals me into a happy mood for the rest of the day. Color theory changes lives.
Addressing my rejection of the blue pill: As amazing it would be to master every language in a moment, I would never be satisfied if I never got to say "I love you" to friends, family, or a significant other. It's always a relief hearing the phrase from those people-- I wouldn't risk the loss of it.
