Hunter Cole- Assignment 3

I somewhat believe in absolute good and evil. Most people are good and few are evil. I think good and evil are relative to what you are looking at. Some things may seem like a good cause to some but an evil one to others. That is why most conflicts happen. One person has a viewpoint and the other does not consider it and if they do they do not agree with it. Take the Civi War for example. The northern states thought that African slavery was evil but the southern states though it was good and necessary to keep a stable and profitable economy. Since they had opposing viewpoints, they went to war. Although slavery seems evil, it has been in practice for thousands of years and could seem like a good cause for the south. I don't think it is possible for evil to be completely eliminated because everyone will always have a different opinion than someone else. Some things may seem evil like committing mass homicide, but to the small population of people with mental disorders it seem as a good cause.
