Hall passes are the most irrational component of school
systems. Why should teachers allow their students to use the bathroom during
class? The students will most likely do drugs in the bathroom and skip school
instead of following the rules.
Teenagers can’t even
get themselves dressed in the morning so there is no reason to give them the
responsibility of walking across the hallway and returning safely with out
doing any wrong. Boys and girls don’t need to use the bathroom during class
they can just go during the short period the school gives them to hurry during
class change. If a teenage girl asked a teacher to use the restroom what would
you think? “There is no way in hell this girl’s uterine wall is shedding or her
uterine contractions are causing her to feel excruciating pain in her abdomen.
She is most likely trying to get out of this lesson instead of checking to see
if she is bleeding on her chair.” Teenage girls in particular are known as the
most irresponsible crowd of them all so it seems preposterous to give them the
ability to use the restroom during class. All schools should mandate a “no
bathroom” policy while students are at school to keep a responsible and safe
environment.
